?? Volunteers Needed for iCan Bike Camp! ?? Our iCan Bike camp from June 17-21 in McKinney, TX, won't happen without YOU! We need 30+ more volunteers to help individuals with Down syndrome learn to ride a bike. Volunteer Requirements: -Ages 15+ welcome -No experience needed; training provided -Walk/jog alongside riders for 75 minutes -Earn service hours Session Times: Sign up for one or more sessions times and days. ?? Volunteers Needed for iCan Bike! ?? The DSG needs approximately 60 volunteers to serve at our iCan Bike program June 17-June 21 in McKinney, TX. iCan Bike is designed to teach individuals with disabilities how to independently ride a two-wheel bicycle. Rider success relies HEAVILY on volunteers who will be responsible for providing encouragement and physical support to riders. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old and able to walk/jog alongside riders for the 75 minute session. Volunteers will ideally be able to serve all 5 day of camp during the same time slot in order to build a consistent relationship with their assigned rider. No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided. Volunteers may serve one or more sessions each day. This is a great opportunity for high school and college students needing service hours or corporate teams looking to serve their community.
