?? Today’s DSANI Star is Piper ?? Piper Grace is 6 years old and started kindergarten this year. She absolutely loves music, dancing and books. She adores her entire family and will soon get the new title of Big Sister. Piper lights up any room she enters. Her bubbly personality and giggles put a smile on everyone's face. She is such a smart, sweet and ornery little girl. Piper has the biggest heart full of love for every person or animal she comes across. Piper - you are a wonderful bundle of energy, and we love watching your shenanigans! You will be a GREAT big sister - and we can't wait to see you rock that role! #downsyndromeawareness

?? Today’s DSANI Star is Henry ?? Henry is 5 years old and a kindergartner at Lafayette Meadows. He is enjoying school, especially riding the bus! Henry loves to play ball and is currently playing adaptive soccer, baseball, and flag football. We are so thankful for these opportunities! Henry loves vanilla milkshakes, riding rollercoasters at Disney World, and his big sister, Penelope. Henry - you are a busy boy...and we are here for it! You're doing so many great things and we are so proud of you! Keep swinging for the fences - we're right here to cheer you on! #downsyndromeawareness

?? Today’s DSANI Star is Katherine-Sofia ?? Katherine is 3 years old, and she is a really friendly girl. She loves going outside and exploring new places, she absolutely loves bubbles and meeting new people. She just started school as a preschooler; we believe she likes school and all her classmates. Her FAVORITE thing is watching Ms Rachel, we believe she might be Ms Rachel’s #1 fan. Katherine - you are a beautiful girl! We can’t wait to see all of the great things you will learn at school. ?? Today’s DSANI Star is Carter ?? My name is Carter. I will be 21 years old on November 1st. I have an awesome dad by the name of Brian and a fantastic mom by the name of Cassie. I also have a brother, Jackson and a sister, Alaina. Some of my favorite things to do: Getting the high 5's at the BuddyWalk, going to amusement parks, watching movies, watching America's Got Talent, eating hamburgers & fries and keeping my mom company as my dad goes to work. I have two dogs - Puggy & Lily and a cat named Snowflake. My life is the best because I have a wonderful family who loves me very much. Carter - it's great to see you enjoying so many wonderful things! We can't wait to hear about your next trip to an amusement park - and which ride is your favorite! #downsyndromeawareness

?? Today’s DSANI Star is Maria-Grace ?? Maria-Grace is 11 years old and a 6th grader at Saint Vincent DePaul Catholic School. Maria loves school. She is in the school Choir, Drama Club, and Cheerleading. When she is not cheering on the Panthers, you can find her cheering for her brother at lU games. Maria loves to perform. She tried out for the school play, ELF, and was cast as Shwanda the Elf. Maria also enjoys cooking, swimming, and art. She is very loving and is a hard worker. Maria-Grace brings our family so much love and joy. We are better because of her. Maria-Grace - you are the brightest ray of sunshine and bring so much joy to everything you do! The sky is the limit for you - and we can't wait to see where the future takes you! #downsyndromeawareness

?? Today’s DSANI Star is Maverick ?? This is Maverick. He is 2 years old. He's getting so close to independently standing and taking steps. He loves his brothers and sister and loves to throw a ball back and forth. He could play this game all day if we let him. Maverick babbles constantly and he has begun saying words that sound just like what he wants to say, but maybe only to us! Ha ha! He learns new sign language quickly and loves to use it to communicate, especially telling us he wants to go outside to swing! He is definitely the baby of the family and gets picked up a lot and given pretty much whatever he wants. We love him so and we are so thankful he's in our family. Maverick - you are a world changer! It's so fun to see you learning so much, and communicating your needs! Keep shining, sweet boy! #downsyndromeawareness

?? Today’s DSANI Star is Journee ?? Journee is a ball of energy that brightens any room that she walks into. She loves to play and listen to music. Journee also really enjoys school and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite thing to do is ask you "What you doing?"Journee - you are growing up so quickly! ?? Today’s DSANI Star is Arthur ?? Arthur enjoys almost any sport He learns about. He plans to be in flag football, basketball, and track all through high school. Arthur frequently visits Lutheran Life Villages and has become well known among the residents. It's a favorite of his! He also loves being an uncle and being silly with his niece. He can often be found listening to Irish music or working out at the YMCA. Arthur is Fort Wayne Famous! Arthur - we have no doubt that you enrich every life you touch! Keep grabbing life by the horns - and you will run Fort Wayne one day! #downsyndromeawareness

?? Today’s DSANI Star is Jackson ?? Hi l'm Jackson and I am 12 yrs old. l am a 6th grader at Carroll Middle School where I love to go to their football games. I also like going to my brother's hockey games and cheering him and his teammates on. I am a Michigan Wolverine fan, which some of my family are not happy about. One of my most favorite things to do is going to North Myrtle Beach for summer vacation with my family and especially hanging out with my cousins there. Go Blue! Jackson - your enthusiasm is contagious! It is a joy to watch you becoming such an awesome young man; and such a good friend to so many! #downsyndromeawareness
