Project update!? Our team is helping Maverick Smiles expand to City of Fountain Inn! This dentistry is excited to serve pediatric and special needs patients in this community soon, and we get the honor of building their new location from the ground up.? Dovetail Construction began construction in early August and overcame delays from Hurricane Helene. But thanks to the hard work of our team and utility contractors, we were able to make up that time. Maverick Smiles has been a pleasure to work with and we can’t wait for them to open their doors!? Jac came to us with a clear need: to expand their quickly growing operations. In Jac’s words, they were “bursting at the seams” at their cafe Greenville has come to know and love! Dovetail was honored to help them build out their “SwampyTown Warehouse” just down the road. This project included rebuilding the entire building structure to house their new refrigeration, freezer and dry storage. Next stop: phase 2! Take a drive down Woodruff Rd off I-85 and you'll see some of our work at The Shops at Merovan. ?? Dovetail had the honor of turning an existing restaurant into the Prisma Health Urgent Care, a roughly 7,200 sq ft renovation interior upfit. We also built Dave's Hot Chicken from the ground up, including the surrounding parking area and dumpster enclosure.? The Dovetail team wholeheartedly dedicates our minds and uses our very hands to build tangible spaces where innovative companies and organizations can thrive and realize their business goals. Now that’s a sign we like to see!? If you didn’t know, Mill City Kitchen is NOW OPEN. Dovetail Construction had the honor of helping Mill City owners Jason and John bring their vision to life. Their concept at Judson Mill District combines live-fire Italian food and 100+ wines. ???? This unique project integrating the old and new required a significant amount of on-site coordination to fit a full commercial kitchen within a very tight space with low head room. We utilized existing historic finishes for this 5,000 sq ft restaurant build-out by complementing 100-year-old maple hardwoods with new maple and keeping an exposed overhead structure visible. The overall project scope included a wine bar, food service bar, dining area, manager's office, large kitchen, dish area, prep room and dough room.?
