Our library has always been a special place—a cozy spot for our Doves to gather for group meetings, tackle step work, or simply relax with a good book. But let’s be real…it was definitely “well-loved” over the years, with worn-out couches, outdated shelves, and tables that had seen better days. That’s where the amazing team at TRIMEDX stepped in! Over the course of two weeks, nearly 50 TRIMEDX employees rolled up their sleeves and gave our beloved library a complete makeover. From freshly painted walls to brand-new comfy couches, stylish shelves, and adorable decorations, this space now feels like a warm hug—perfect for reflection, connection, and recharging. We’re grateful for this incredible transformation and the support of TRIMEDX. Last week, we celebrated our Dubois County Director of Operations, Megan Durlauf, who was honored as a nominee for the Dubois County Young Professional of the Year. Although she didn’t take home the title, Megan’s incredible impact makes her a true winner. Dove House Board Member Jen Verkamp shared this about Megan: “Her work and advocacy have had such a significant positive impact on our county!” Since opening its doors in Jasper, Indiana, in the fall of 2022, Megan has become synonymous with Dove House in Dubois County. Whether hard at work behind the scenes or actively supporting our Doves and engaging with the community, Megan’s dedication shines through in everything she does. From weekly food donations to teaching resilience and capturing holiday memories with family photos, Lori’s compassion shines in everything she does. Meet Stephanie Armstrong, one of the amazing resident advocates at our Dubois County home. With a background in nursing and a deep passion for helping women in recovery, Stephanie combines her experience with dedication to supporting our residents. A former nurse and longtime volunteer at Dove House, Stephanie’s commitment to empowering others shines through in her daily interactions. “I want the women to know they are not alone, and that I want what’s best for them,” she says. Outside of Dove House, Stephanie enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. We're grateful to have her on the Dove House team!
