Last month, the entire Double Good team came together at the one-of-a-kind WNDR Museum in Chicago for our 2025 Company Kickoff Event! We kicked off the evening with exciting initiatives from our executive team, followed by inspiring guest speaker Keith Wallace, CPRP on his work with Lincolnway Special Recreation Association and how our partnership expands opportunities for adaptive sports athletes. From there, we connected over great food, explored immersive exhibits, and wrapped up the night with an unforgettable Maggie Speaks karaoke experience. At Double Good, we believe that creating meaningful connections and fostering growth go hand in hand with our mission of "designing for good." Recently, Product Designer Aaron Montanez exemplified this by hosting "Design for Impact," a product tech event through the mentorship organization ADPList Chicago Chapter. The event brought together product-tech professionals across all career levels for panel discussions, insights on enhancing the user experience, and breakout groups brainstorming industry-changing ideas. Aaron was joined by Double Good teammates Bos Alvertos, David B., and Daniel Santrella, who shared their expertise throughout the event. Reflecting on the experience, Aaron shared: "One of our product principles at Double Good is ‘Transparency powers collaboration,’ and I paired that with one of my favorite quotes from Socrates, ‘True wisdom is in knowing that you know nothing.’ It resonated because these guiding principles not only encourage continuous learning at every stage but also highlight the value of gathering different perspectives and getting feedback early and often." Through open dialogue and shared insights, the night was inspired by meaningful conversations that bridged experience levels in the product tech community.?

For over 50 years, Camp ANCHOR has been a magical haven for individuals with special needs, offering year-round programs that build connection, joy, and community. This year, their fundraising efforts reached new heights with Double Good's virtual fundraising platform, raising $114,000 in just four days! These funds made it possible to upgrade their summer camp’s facilities, including accessible swimsuit changing rooms — a game-changer for their campers.
