He also handles the distribution of work orders and makes sure we have all the required resources, which can involve ordering materials, checking job sites, and liaising with customers to ensure everything is set. Over the years, Juan has experienced notable growth in his professional communication abilities. A fun tidbit is that Juan is the only fluent Spanish speaker in our office. “I take great pleasure in observing the transformation of the projects my team and I complete. It is also rewarding to witness the significant growth and achievements of the company during my tenure at DOE. Brittany became the Controller at Double Oak Companies in January 2013, making her one of the original members of the Double Oak Erosion team. While her role primarily keeps her in the office, she takes great pride in being part of the company's journey from a small group of three to a thriving workforce of over 100, serving clients throughout Texas. Her leadership and dedication not only showcase her professionalism but also inspire her colleagues. Married to Tim for 12 years, Brittany is a proud mother to their 10-year-old son, Gage. The Ortiz family shares their home with three dogs: Kimber, Rip, and Lyla. In Brittany’s leisure time, she enjoys boat racing with her husband, as well as fishing, hunting, and riding ATVs with her family.
