?? Today is DHCLS Giving Day! ?? Please consider supporting your library with a gift to the DHCLS Annual Fund. You can visit dhcls.org/give to make your donation online. DHCLS has proudly provided our community with library services at no cost for 75 years. Through seven and a half decades, the mission of our library has remained the same: to foster early literacy and lifelong learning, encourage economic development, and enhance quality of life for all of our residents. Your gift will not only help us celebrate our past 75 years of commitment to our community, but will also be an investment in the next 75 years of programs, resources, and services that we provide: our weekly storytimes for babies and toddlers, our Summer Reading Program, our classroom enrichment activities, our eBooks and digital resources, our bookmobile and outreach activities, and public Wi-Fi and computers that support workforce development and economic opportunity. Your support, at any level, is greatly appreciated by our staff, trustees, and the entire community we serve. Together, we can ensure that DHCLS remains a place of discovery, inspiration, and joy for another 75 years and beyond. _____ Donate today: dhcls.org/give _____ #MyLibraryDoes #NationalLibraryWeek #DHCLSGivingDay

Meet the Assistant Director of Public Services at the Dothan Houston County Library System, Deja Bertucci! Deja Bertucci started her library career as story lady at Opelika Public Library. More recently, she served as director of Horseshoe Bend Regional Library in Dadeville, Alabama. Before she became a librarian, she completed a PhD in English and Creative Writing and taught at universities across the country, but she eventually realized she liked being in libraries better than any other place on earth. She will complete her master's degree in Library and Information Systems at the University of Alabama this Spring. Deja is a published poet, wife to a military physician, mom to five magnificent kids, owner of a quirky cat named Hypotenuse and a noble poodle named Hippocrates, and she's always happy to hear about your favorite book.
