In 10 years, Dot Foods has donated about $2.5 million worth of product to more than 200 food pantries through Neighbor to Neighbor. Neighbor to Neighbor isn’t like traditional food pantry donations. We give local pantries an order form to select from our available products. Then, our employees volunteer to unload the items from our Dot Transportation (DTI) trucks into the pantries. Thank you to the employees across Dot and DTI for making this unique program possible. These past 10 years have just been the start! https://bit.ly/4i5N1Jn #DotFoods #CaringForOurCommunities

Trusted Values. Innovative Solutions. Shared Growth.
关于我们
Founded in 1960, Dot Foods is North America’s largest food industry redistributor and one of the largest private, family-owned businesses in the U.S. Started by Robert and Dorothy Tracy in the small Midwestern town of Mt. Sterling, Illinois, Dot now delivers to all 50 states and over 50 countries. Dot employs more than 4,000 individuals and hasn't had a single layoff in all our history. Our corporate headquarters is still located in Mt. Sterling, but we also have 13 distribution centers in the U.S.; a corporate sales office in St. Louis, Missouri; two locations in Canada; and a joint venture in Mexico. Although our locations are spread out across North America, each practices our brand promise every day: Trusted Values. Innovative Solutions. Shared Growth.? This message is as true today as it was when the Tracys built the business. Robert and Dorothy instilled a set of values that serve as the cornerstone of our business model. And these values promise to provide innovative solutions for our business partners to ensure their problems, both big and small, are solved. In the end, we don’t succeed unless our employees are happy and our partners grow their businesses alongside ours. If you work for us or join Dot Foods as a partner, you can be sure that we will take care of our relationship and ensure it flourishes.

Ready to conquer that behavioral interview? Here are some tips direct from our recruiting team: 1) Vague responses that include generalizations and do not provide a specific situation should be avoided. Be sure to provide a specific example to answer the question. 2) Try to make the connection from the question we ask, to what we are trying to learn about you through that question. For example, if you're asked about a challenging team dynamic, interviewers are trying to see how open you are to working with others and how you might contribute to a team's improvement. 3) Be sure to take the time before your interview to ponder your past experiences and how you would benefit the company, and vice versa. Doing the research and rehearsing for the interview are two ways to get closer to nailing the interview and landing your next job! Learn more about behavioral interviewing ---> https://bit.ly/4g1whB6

Our very own Dick Tracy was a recent guest on the Food CEO Xchange Podcast to share how we make products more accessible across the supply chain. Hear his thoughts on where the industry and our company are headed. #DotFoods
Dot Foods went from a little mom and pop business based out of a small Midwestern town in the 1960s to the largest foodservice redistribution company in the U.S. today. Episode Three of Food CEO Xchange, has our host, Phil Kafarakis, exploring the family-owned company's business model and history with Dick Tracy, CEO of Dot. He's the 12th child of Dot's co-founders and joined the family business full-time in 1991. Dot Foods has about 7,000 employees and had $8.6 Billion in revenue in 2022. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tom Tracy at age 72. Tom was the third oldest son of our founders, Robert (RT) and Dorothy Tracy. He worked at Dot Foods for nearly 40 years and sat on our Board of Directors for 25 years. It’s thanks to him that our company uses computers. He joined Dot in 1978 to help get our first computers established before working as our accounting manager. Tom’s legacy is still felt to this day at Dot. He will be greatly missed, and we join the Tracy family in mourning his death and celebrating his life.
