#DASNY celebrated #BlackHistoryMonth this week across our New York State offices! We honored the exceptional leadership of Board Member Janice McKinnie and our CFO and Treasurer Kim Ellis, who was recently recognized by Northeast Women in Public Finance for her outstanding contributions to the finance industry. The celebration also highlighted several outstanding team members including Jason Davis, Talicia Carter, Cheron Hennegan, and Elijah Pore, whose talents and perspectives strengthen our organization daily. Each office enjoyed delicious meals from local Black-owned restaurants, supporting businesses in the communities we serve while celebrating our commitment to diversity. Special thanks to our Diversity & Inclusion team, Executive Direction team, Building Services, Information Services, and Marketing & Communications for making these celebrations possible. At DASNY, we're proud to foster a workplace where diverse talents help us better serve the people of New York State.

DASNY is administering $500,000 in capital funding to support critical infrastructure improvements at the South End Children's Cafe in Albany. DASNY will oversee renovations including windows, doors, lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, and kitchen equipment installation - creating a more functional space for this vital community organization.
