From Oct 1 to Dec 31, Dorm DAO returned an impressive +41.13% (USD). The portfolio outperformed ETH by 4.69%, implying 20.12% of annualized alpha. Shoutout to Michigan Blockchain and Dartmouth Blockchain for crushing in Q1, generating a +37.42% and +29.66% of alpha respectively. Over three months, the DAO did a 5.49x on Pocket Network Foundation tokens (pitched by Michigan Blockchain) and a 3.54x on Axelar Network tokens (pitched by Dartmouth Blockchain). In Q1, 36 pitches were completed, leading to 28 investments. Investment sizing ranged from 2 to 5 ETH per position, with an average of 2.45 ETH. We are pooling ETH with our friends at The LAO, Consensys Mesh, Hydra Ventures and Lemniscap to aggregate and engage the enormous talent housed in college blockchain clubs. Today, college students: 1) Have abundant time + curiosity; 2) Need authentic experience in real environments; 3) Are interested in emerging crypto networks.
