A journey of a thousand miles may not be achieved without accumulation of each single step, just as the enormous ocean may not be formed without gathering every brook or stream. https://lnkd.in/eHj6NbTk
?? I'm thrilled to share that our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Wyss Institute at Harvard University has just published two more preprints on bioRxiv! As the corresponding author, alongside Dr. William Shih, I'm incredibly proud of the work we've done to advance the DNA origami research field. In these studies, we delve into the economic fabrication of DNA origami and the methods for quantifying the cargo they carry. This represents a significant step forward in our mission to advance DNA origami technology towards therapeutic translation. A huge thank you to my amazing co-authors and collaborators for their dedication and hard work: Olivia Arnold, PhD (Young), Hawa Dembele, Anjali Rajwar, Giorgia Isinelli, and Chris Wintersinger. Your contributions have been invaluable! ?? Non-stop progress in translating our technology! https://lnkd.in/eu-eYDuT
It was such a great journey for DoriNano to be a MassBio Drive cohort company, along with other amazing companies @Sphinxion, @koi, Nucyrna Therapeutics, @Hestia. The 10-minute Demo Day pitch presentation was too short to express my gratitude thoroughly. I appreciate the thoughtful organization of all the events by Nikki Taylor Seiler, MHA, Caroline Pepek, and Tiffany Patel from MassBio. Thank you for allowing the participation of our lab members Hawa Dembele, Giorgia Isinelli Qiancheng Xiong and Su Hyun Seok in the training program. They all learned a lot. Our mentors were so dedicated to offering their selfless support to us. Not only did they never miss a mentor meeting, but many of them also provided 1:1 sessions. Sincere gratitude to Arthur Hiller, Dominic McDonald, Catherine Mesner, Mathias Cousin, Michael Boss, Po-Jen (Will) Yen and Elizabeth Wood. All the working sessions were great! We learned a lot from the videos and Q&As. We appreciate all the contributors Browne Consulting, WSGR, Thermo Fisher Scientific, KPMG, and Xontogeny. The panel discussion contribted by professionals from Johnson&Johnson, Novartis and Merck for BD partnering was super helpful. I can’t wait to see all our fellow entrepreneurs' continued success. It’s great to know Julie Saba, Anita Scheuber, Hamid Mahini, @Mohammad Rashidian, Damon (Feng) Wang, PhD, Biren Shah and become friends. Appreciation to the great photographer as well John Wilcox. Graduation from MassBio Drive, a new journey has started!

Our paper published in Nature Nanotechnology marks a significant milestone and signals a new beginning for us. Our goal is to effectively translate our discoveries into clinical applications that will directly benefit patients at DoriNano. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable business support provided by Wyss Institute at Harvard University.
Effective cancer vaccines also need to effectively engage a patient’s immune system. Now, Wyss researchers have used the DoriVac vaccine platform to create DNA origami-based nanostructures in the shape of nanometer-sized squareblocks that, on one face, present immune cell-activating adjuvant molecules with nanoprecise spacing and on the other face tumor antigens. In preclinical models, these DoriVac vaccines allowed a highly beneficial activation of immune cells, and led to much stronger anti-tumor responses than those produced by free adjuvant and antigen molecules. #CancerVaccine #DNAOrigami #DNA #Nanotechnology #CancerResearch #CancerTherapy #Immunotherapy Yang (Claire) Zeng https://lnkd.in/eD67FWQv
