Doret would not have been founded without the amazing coaching and challenges of Nicole Trick Steinbach (she/her). Through her support, Doret was fomented and became a reality. Doret does not yet have a formal board of directors but if it did, these folks would be it. From filing our LLC paperwork through rapid growth, these mentors have been available to give advice on everything from Sales Strategy to Growth Options. They've made introductions, provided feedback, and told us when our strategies need tweaking. They have mastered the art of balancing honesty and kindness and Doret wouldn't be where it is today without them. Continuing in our month of anniversary celebration, we want to give a shoutout to a person in every startup who often doesn't get the appreciation they so incredibly deserve - the spouse of a founder. Today, we celebrate Josh Knackert, the man behind the founder. He was the voice of encouragement when our founder first shared her vision to start a healthcare consulting company focused on CRM with the customer at the center. He has put in countless hours, helping us find critical support resources, alerting us to upcoming conferences and networking opportunities, acting as a sounding board for staffing and business strategy, and even stepping in to help with some light bookkeeping :) Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, he has stepped in to cover for the demands a start up often has on a family. He shares in the mental and physical load of being a parent, something that not every spouse has the ability or presence of mind to do. He is a Doret Champion through and through and this company (and our clients) would not be where they are without him.

As we move into 1 year of business, we're taking the month of October to celebrate those who have been instrumental on our journey. I want to start this Monday with a natural force who grounds so much growth, work, and execution at Doret Consulting. She's there to lend a helping hand wherever needed and has an insane knack for boiling the most complex goals down to small, achievable tasks. She always bring an air of professionalism and welcome to every situation and we couldn't do what we do without her. So today, we want to give a HUGE thank you to Katrina Mata, our strategic assistant, project manager, and all around rock star. Without Katrina, by way of myVA Rocks, our weeks wouldn't start with the same purpose and intention. Thank you for everything you bring to our team, Katrina!
