Dorchester Seniors, Inc. is a private, Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization established in 1979 by the Dorchester County Council. DSI provides services for the senior population and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Dorchester Seniors, Inc. mission is to provide opportunities to all senior citizens of Dorchester County to enhance their educational, mental, social, spiritual and physical well-being.
To achieve this goal, Dorchester Seniors, Inc. works cooperatively with other community agencies and organizations through advocacy for senior citizens and interagency coordination including outreach, assessing needs and planning actions.

"Souper" Opportunity to Spread Some Holiday Cheer! We're cooking up something special for the homebound seniors of Dorchester County, and we need your help! We're collecting canned soups to fill holiday bags, and we need all the “souper” donations we can get! Drop off your canned soup at either DSI Senior Center location between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday from 11/21/24 and 12/13/24. Not a fan of soup cans, but love the idea? No worries! Scan the QR code to make a monetary donation, and we’ll do the heavy lifting of purchasing the soup! Thanks to the souper support from our community, DSI can make this holiday season a little brighter for those who need it most. Let’s soup it up, Dorchester County!
