Helping Special Operators transition to a life of peace, contentment, and balance.

关于我们

The Donovan and Bank Foundation is a North Carolina based 501(c)(3) non-profit comprised of four interrelated programs: The JANUS Program, the Special Operations Experience, The Donovan & Bank Society and the Innovative Wellness Program. We focus on the critical elements of transition: finding a new purpose, decoupling from military identity, and staying connected to a tribe/community. We are purpose built to help Special Operators focus on prioritizing fulfillment over employment. We are not a job placement organization, though our exclusive process and extensive network often leads to career opportunities and successful employment for those we serve. We are designed to energize SOF warriors to begin the transition process early. Because our team is mostly former Special Forces, we have a unique level of credibility and access with our constituents that allows us to reach them in a way others cannot. Though we focus on Army Special Forces (Green Berets), we have developed a culture and reputation to help anyone who finds their way to the foundation. The JANUS Program delivers transition assistance products and services including one-on-one counseling, transition workshops, leadership seminars and wellness innovation education. The Donovan and Bank Society is an active community that provides Special Operators with a way to successfully reintegrate while staying connected to their tribe. The Special Operations Experience (SOE) is The Foundations primary fundraising effort. It gives civilians the chance to experience Special Operations training firsthand and provides networking for transitioning Special Operators The Innovative Wellness Program provides awareness, access and funding for cutting edge treatments for TBI and PTS (Stellate Ganglion Block, Ketamine Infusion, MeRT, Ibogaine and others) which are difficult or impossible to access through the Department of Defense medical system or the Veterans Administration.

So you want to be part of The Donovan & Bank Foundation family.... Spoiler alert. We don't do fancy dinners. We don't do black tie galas. We don't set up booths at trade shows or spend hard earned donor dollars on cocktail parties and fancy lodging. Our events are hands on, authentic and inexorably tied to Special Forces tactics, techniques and lineage. The AREA B Program is a two day survival experience led by some of the most respected survival experts in the world. David Alfonso, a member of the Donovan & Bank Board of Advisors, demonstrated first hand the kind of grit and dedication emblematic of The Donovan & Bank Foundation family, and led the way at the latest AREA B Program at an undisclosed location near Franklin, TN. Being part of the Donovan & Bank Family starts and ends with people who care about who we are, what we do and why we do it. A big donation won't get you inside the patrol base...only character, integrity and values will.

Thank you Jason Smith at Hobo Forge Survival for joining Stuart Farris and Josh Forman to represent The Donovan and Bank Foundation at Exelevate’s Family Fly Fest fundraiser to support our mission to help the Nation’s Special Operators bring closure to their warrior story and transition to a life of peace, contentment and balance. We could not do what we do without the generosity and vision of folks like Andy and Alissa Biechlin SHRM-CP from Exelevate. Thank You!!!!!

This is a serious breach of our media policy, which clearly states that Drew Stamp, our COO, is prohibited from engaging with media outlets unsupervised. I guess we should be thankful that they had the decency to not take his picture - because we’d never hear the end of that… Also - spoiler alert. Looks like Stars and Stripes is still a going concern!!! Who would’ve guessed?!?

We are fortunate to have supporters like Exelevate who not only do really cool stuff, but also have a heart for giving back. If you are looking for a family friendly way to spend a day - come out to the Model Airplane and Drone Flying Fest Fundraiser. Not only can you play with some really cool toys, you'll be supporting some great causes.

Our own Drew Stamp sat down with Lacey Langford, AFC? on the MILMO? show recently to talk about the financial pitfalls that servicemembers often encounter during their transition from military service. For those of you who have completed JANUS 101, you'll recognize a lot of this material as it relates to purpose, identity, and community. But did you know Drew is not the only one advocating for your financial wellness during this important season of life? Lacey, Drew, and many colleagues gather together annually at MilMoneyCon to discuss, collaborate, and empower one another to keep the force informed and equipped to withstand the hard sales that will no doubt come their way as they navigate transition.

Service members and their families are a protected group when it comes to their finances. The Department of Defense intentionally protects the military community from predatory financial sales practices while they are serving. Those protections are no longer there when you separate or retire, making transitioning service members top targets of predatory sales practices. In this episode, Drew Stamp discusses what service members and their families face when they leave the military, how to educate themselves, and how to combat bad actors in the financial and veteran space. We also discuss whether all the benefits the community receives could negatively impact them. Drew Stamp is a husband, father, and retired US Army Special Forces Master Sergeant. Additionally, he is a teacher, mentor, and coach who co-founded The Donovan and Bank Foundation, a non-profit that assists Special Operations service members and their families in transitioning to post-service life and employment. In his role at the D&B Foundation, he visits Special Operations units around the world to lead seminars and assist servicemembers in crafting their plans to transition from military service to a life of peace, contentment, and balance.? Drew is also a gifted instructor on all things related to personal finance, teaching a variety of military audiences across the US on a weekly basis. Drew has a master’s degree in business administration, has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant? credential and successfully passed the Certified Financial Planner? exam. Although originally from Michigan, Drew and his wife now proudly call North Carolina home, where they’re actively involved in their church, community, and raising their four children. Spent some time in the community today talking about Beyond the Battlefield and S.O.S.! It’s always a solid day expanding the reach of our program and being able to answer questions on how to use this resource! ?? If you don’t know about the platform we invite you to check it out on our website! https://lnkd.in/dBJ7XVdR. This resource offers a three prong approach to mental wealth and healing invisible wounds: 1. S - Side by Side, small service member to service member group events outside of work and the team room to reconnect while hiking, hunting, fishing, networking together! 2. O - One on One Therapy, where SFCT provides 12 sessions of anonymous therapy to our Green Beret community (open to the Service Member, Spouse and kiddos). 3. S - Sponsored Treatments and Services partners, which highlights resources that cover down on the SOF Community as a whole. These partners are spotlighted as they have helped us answer the call for the SF community in their time of need. SOF Network, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center, Warriors Heart, Home Base, Emory Healthcare, Shepherd Center, Koterra Integrated Wellness, Shields & Stripes, Donovan and Bank Foundation, Tree House Recovery, Sound Off Thank you U.S. Army John F.
