Monique managed, assessed risk, and obligated over $5,968,000 dollars on behalf of ASN RD&A. Her hard work ensured that ASN RD&A was able to financially meet mission requirements across the enterprise and in a cost effective manner. Monique worked across all warfare centers, services, and contracts offices to ensure mission success. Exciting news for the Submarine Industrial Base! This week, VADM Scott Pappano, our principal military deputy, and Mr. Matt Sermon, Executive Director for PEO SSBN, were in Mobile, Ala. to help break ground at Austal's new Module Manufacturing Facility (MMF) 3, which will be exclusively dedicated to building submarine modules. The 369,600 sq. foot facility will add more than 2,000 jobs and supports our goal of delivering 1 Columbia-class SSBN + 2 Virginia-class SSNs per year by 2028. #submarineindustrialbase
