We had an amazing time at?True Colors SOGIEcon, the largest LGBTQIA+ youth conference in the country! With nearly 200 workshops, performances, and activities, our students explored what resonated most with them. We’re proud to support spaces that uplift and empower the next generation of LGBTQIA+ leaders.

We had such a great time stepping out of our comfort zones during a Salsa & Bachata class with Dance with Maria—followed by dinner at Riviera Maya! Some students were totally new to the moves, while others jumped right in to help out. Huge thanks to Margaret for securing the mini-grant that made this night possible!

This week, Domus testified before the CT General Assembly Education Committee during a public hearing for SB1 and SB1511, sharing powerful stories and urging legislators to take bold action for disconnected and at-risk young people. As part of the newly formed 119k to Zero coalition, we're committed to ensuring every one of Connecticut’s 119,000 disconnected youth has a path to success—and we’re ready to do this work. Thank you to the legislators who listened. We’re hopeful you'll pass legislation that brings real change.

Our Mentor & a Movie event with LiveGirl brought together students from Rippowam Middle School for an inspiring experience centered around mentorship, confidence-building, and the power of sisterhood. In celebration of Women’s History Month, these students reflected on the contributions of women throughout history and embraced the strength of community and connection. A huge thank you to LiveGirl for creating such a meaningful space for growth and empowerment! #TBT Domus Vikings celebrated Black History Month with a delicious soul food lunch! A couple of our students also took the stage at Westhill’s Black History Month performance, showcasing their talents and honoring the rich history and contributions of Black leaders. Stamford is home to so many cultures and history, and we’re proud to celebrate the diversity that makes our community strong. #LoveLivesHere

This is an amazing achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and dedication. Your perseverance has truly paid off, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for you both!
