An incredible day with the Dominican Sisters of Peace and Timothy Cardinal Radcliffe, OP, former Master of the Order of Preachers, during his first visit to the United States since being elevated to the College of Cardinals in December. #Leadership #DominicanOrder #CollegeOfCardinals #CatholicChurch #Synodality #Inspiration

We are called by our faith and our God to open our hearts to all members of our Church. In the words of Pope Francis, “Persons with disabilities are fully human subjects, with rights and duties” and every human being has the right to live with dignity and to develop integrally."
MSY92: A CALL TO ACTION THIS SPRING Multi-system youth (MSY) are children and adolescents with complex needs, requiring the coordinated services of multiple partners within the child-serving system. Their families often face isolation in their communities, must navigate complicated and competing support systems, and, heartbreakingly, some are even forced to surrender custody to access essential care. Each spring, we have a unique 92-day opportunity to focus on awareness, action, and advocacy—not just for families living with a particular diagnosis, but for those balancing multiple diagnoses. How will you and your organization use these 92 days to better support multi-system youth and their families? Here are some steps to get started: ?? Learn about what is happening in your state and take steps to be part of the solution. ??? Create a roadmap to help families navigate the complicated systems of care at the local, county, and state levels. ??? Break down silos by identifying barriers to collaboration and partnering with others to create solutions. ??? Empower voices of youth, parents, and families to ensure they are heard and included in decisions. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for these families. #MSY92 #MultiSystemYouth #MSY #Medicaid #OhioRISE #MentalHealth #DevelopmentalDisabilities #SpecialEducation Grateful for the Ohio Department of Medicaid for their leadership in Ohio and the The Center for Community Solutions for their ongoing advocacy for families like mine!

Our prayers go our to Erin and her family. May God grant her eternal rest.
The Diocese of Columbus has lost another powerful advocate for the poor and marginalized. Her retirement was too short, but I pray she rests in peace. https://lnkd.in/ezdi8zxu

Mark W. Butler, OPA, MTS and Claire Crane bring a smile to work every day ... but it's only special days when they are in costume! #greatworkplaces
It's truly amazing when you find a staff member who is passionate about the work, produces wonderful results consistently, and shares common interests and enjoyment of shenanigans. Happy #Oktoberfest2024 all!
