Before scheduling the 2025 annual leadership conference in Cambodia, Dome Technology CEO Bradley Bateman and VP of Finance Rod South wanted to vet the location, and naturally, that would be a lot more fun with their kids in tow. Check out Bradley’s son and his first experience with tarantulas—this stuff isn’t for the faint of heart! The group also ate fried tarantulas. #leadershipconference

Today we are pleased to share our San Patricio FEMA dome project summary. The County of San Patricio in Sinton, Texas, chose a dome for its FEMA storm shelter, built to protect locals during major weather events in southeast Texas near the Gulf of Mexico. Completed in 2023, the storm shelter was built at the existing county fairgrounds and finished in colors to match adjacent buildings like the events center and exhibition hall. “The campus is just beautiful,” said Dome Technology sales manager Daren Wheeler. “This shelter has been built for the protection of residents in the community during a high-wind event.” Federal Emergency Management Agency?grant dollars funded the project. The Dome Technology team is headed to Cambodia! That’s right—this year’s leadership conference will be held in the southeast Asian tropics, and just like previous years, those in attendance will get a healthy dose of leadership training complemented with a plenty of adventure. The mission of the leadership conference is to: 1) Elevate company leaders and key employees beyond their current capabilities. 2) Build team unity, increase transparent and honest communication, and strengthen trust. 3) Build relationships through exclusive unique experiences. 4) Attract and retain key people. The executive and production teams set sail in January 2025, and the sales-team conference is in February. #leadership
