Since jumping on board with Dojo Tutor in January 2024, Ashly has supported more than 10 eager learners each week with her interactive and fun teaching style. ?? With 8 years of experience teaching ELA and Social Studies, Ashly knows how to bring the classroom to life! She’s got a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s in Instructional Technology, and certifications in ELA/SS for grades 4-8 and ESL. Basically, she's a pro at making learning not just effective, but super fun. ?? Ashly’s online sessions are all about making learning a blast! Expect cool videos, awesome games, and even some virtual adventures. She’s very #mindful when choosing activities, making sure they’re engaging, educational, and tailored to each student's interests. Learning with Ashly feels more like play than work! ?? When she’s not teaching, Ashly’s probably hitting the gym, jotting down her thoughts, or enjoying the great outdoors with her family and their trusty German Shepherd. ?? Dojo Tutor Spotlight: Madeleine Lifsey ?? ?? Let's give a big cheer for Madeleine, an incredible educator who brings passion and creativity to every lesson! ?? Since joining Dojo Tutor in February 2024, Madeleine has facilitated over 400 classes, guiding more than 20 eager learners each week and making a positive impact on over 60 kids in total. ?? Madeleine holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Teaching, both from Smith College. She’s certified to teach elementary education in Massachusetts and across New Zealand, and has been inspiring students for 13 years. Her experience spans teaching reading, writing, and math to learners from Kindergarten through 5th grade across the globe, including in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Israel, India, New Zealand, and Canada. ?? What sets Madeleine apart is her ability to personalize each lesson to match her students' interests, making learning both fun and effective. Her diverse teaching experience has taught her to prioritize cultural safety and support learners with various communication and learning styles.
