After a week at the training center, our new technicians are all set to hit the field and start fixing equipment! We’re excited to see them apply what they have learned! ☺️

Today is Global Close Your Rings Day with Apple Watch! Our team got active, working hard to close those rings by moving around the office and taking some stand up breaks. We love to push these health and wellness activities with our employees throughout the year! How did you “close your rings” today!?

Team work is what helps us be so successful here, and we love to see that technicians are doing well with that. Check out these words from one of our managers: “Big shoutout to my crew! Josh Hile has been absolutely killing it in the Harrisburg PA area. Joe Protaeu, my district trainer, has been a huge help with tech support and has led some great training sessions. And Mohamed Dhahri really stepped up as a floater, staying for almost 5 weeks and extending his time when I was short-handed. You all are doing an amazing job!” -District Service Manager Jiggs Higgins

When new HVAC technicians spend the week at the Training Center, they also go to a customer site to see first hand realities of their daily work. This hands-on experience with different HVAC systems not only enhances their training but also strengthens their understanding of how to apply their skills in real-world scenarios. It's an essential step in their journey to becoming proficient technicians!

We work best as a team, and we have so many departments who have to work together to achieve our goals.  Here at DOC, we have our "internal" staff which are in our local offices doing many things behind the scenes.  They are there to support our "external" staff which are our technicians working in the field directly at our customer sites.  It's great when they work well together and even give kudos to one another!  This latest group comes from our payroll team who wanted to shout out some technicians for being diligent with the paperwork necessary to make sure their paychecks are correct.

Here we grow again! Excited to welcome our new hires to the team! It's always exciting to see fresh faces and new ideas come into play. We can't wait to see how they bring their unique perspectives and energy to the group!

While we love having our new technicians in our training center for the week, we also take the time to show them pieces of equipment at an actual customer site. It's a great chance for them to see the various machines they might work with in the field and understand the hands on aspects of their role. This exposure really helps them connect the dots between their training and real world applications!
