On the eve of Black Business Month we were thrilled to host “How to Create an Experience,” that included a panel of local entrepreneurs (as one of their many talents) who have a variety of experiences and connectivity in the Charlotte event space. We were able to share and engage in sharing needed resources and information for individuals looking to grow their business acumen, as well as share space and delicious delights via local vendors. In true entrepreneurial fashion, we were able to hire a youth photographer on site at Do Greater, Inc. | Do Greater Creative Labs to capture a few moments from the session! What a day! One of the greatest opportunities we have is to work with motivated students who are eager to turn their ideas into reality. Two years ago, Aiden participated in our first Designathon to design the Creative Lab at Shiloh. Now, having completed our StartUpward Entrepreneurship class, Aiden is poised to grow his business with the support of Lowe's Companies, Inc. A special thanks to Marcel Solomon and Gary McCoy for providing Aiden with a new lawnmower, blower, and accessories to enhance and expand his startup lawn care business. At Do Greater, Inc. | Do Greater Creative Labs, we are training the next generation of entrepreneurs. With the support of partners like Lowe's Companies, Inc., we can transform potential into action by developing creative workforce skills that lead to real businesses—even for a rising 9th grader.
