Welcome to the team - Amy One, Senior Event Manager With 10+ years in the event industry, Amy has had the pleasure of working in wedding design and coordination, floristry, and both corporate and nonprofit events. She loves implementing thoughtful details and creative guest experiences to delight and surprise guests. A little more about Amy: Outside of work, you’ll find me on the lookout for the best eats in MN, baking scones, planning my next trip, or spending time outdoors hugging trees and tripping my way through the forest. What is your DGE Superpower? ?? I have an eye for event design and implementing experiences that are both meaningful and enthralling. Which store would you like to max out your credit card? ?? I enjoy romantic walks through the produce aisle of Whole Foods or any farmer’s market, but would love to go all out on Etsy. One thing I've checked off my bucket list ??: In college, I was able to study abroad in Chile and spend two weeks traveling solo and exploring new places. One thing still on it ??: The next item on my list is going on a trip to the Middle East or Africa. Send me your recommendations! Something you should know?: My mom is the best baker and I grew up spoiled with delicious treats, so the bar has been set high (literally) and I am always looking for a great bakery or dessert.

Welcome to the team - Morgan Peterson, Event Manager Morgan's career journey is a favorite at Do Good Events. In 2017, Morgan was an intern with us. She had a natural talent for events and an eye for the details. Morgan went on to kick-start her event planning career and we are excited to have now brought her back to our team as a full-time Event Manager! A little more about Morgan: While pursuing a degree in Public Relations, a friend pointed out that I'd make a great event planner. That conversation sparked my curiosity, leading me to explore the industry through multiple internships. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with event planning! I thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy problem-solving, and love developing processes that bring ideas to life. From big-picture strategy to the smallest details, I'm passionate about creating seamless, memorable experiences. Beyond event planning, you can find me cheering on my husband, Sam, at his baseball games and soaking up the sunshine on a Minnesota summer day. I also love reading, tackling a good puzzle, and traveling whenever I can. What is your DGE Superpower? I stay calm under pressure and bring a steady, reassuring presence to those around me on event days. Which store would you like to max out your credit card? Dry Goods One thing I've checked off my bucket list: Hiking the Manitou Incline in Colorado - it's 2,768 stairs in under a mile incline. One thing still on it: As an avid baseball fan, my dream is to watch a game at every MLB stadium. I aim to check off 1-2 each year!

Up first - Kari Younes, Senior Event Manager A little about Kari: "I have always enjoyed taking big tasks and transforming them into manageable, understandable, and cohesive projects. My journey began as a teacher fresh out of college, where I honed these skills through curriculum development and classroom leadership. After a decade in education and ministry, I discovered a deep passion for bringing people together to work toward meaningful causes. In recent years, I’ve had the privilege of contracting and volunteering with various nonprofits, boards, and schools, helping to bring fundraising and community events to life. Professionally, nothing brings me greater joy than uniting people to leverage their unique gifts and talents toward a common goal. When I’m not planning your next big event, I’m teaching students how to master their Executive Functioning skills. At home, my husband and I cherish time with friends and cheering on our three children—Michael, Saide, and Raffi—in all the activities they love."
