Meeting long-time Twitter friend Robin was one of my highlights of the #DNPsOfColor conference. For those who don't know or can't remember -- Twitter used to be a platform where you would find and engage with others based on your interests and likes. #NurseTwitter had it going on for a couple of years - a long stretch of time, honestly, but even before that, it was a place where you could reach out to someone and share real conversations. Robin is unapologetic in her approach to health equity, midwifery, positive birth moments, and street medicine. Her on-the-ground approach to the Hawaiian communities is remarkable. Talking about walking the talk, Robin is a real one - and I'm so glad I got a chance to meet her on the mainland. Next time, lunch on me in Maui ??.
