Pershing, highlights the crucial role of logistics in sustaining military operations and achieving victory... “What you do here plays a crucial role in supporting the warfighter,” Brad Bunn, Vice Director of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), said when he visited DLA Distribution headquarters in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Bunn's visit was primarily to receive updates on modernization initiatives and recognize the contributions of agency employees. He was briefed on key topics, including: - Efforts to optimize the distribution network - Enhance supply chain resilience - Implement new technologies to improve logistics operations Discussions also covered contested logistics ?ensuring the agency can sustain operations in challenging environments and the?upcoming deployment of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) designed to streamline warehouse processes. As part of his visit, Bunn toured the Eastern Distribution Center, a 1.7 million square foot facility, where he observed modernization projects in progress and saw preparations for the WMS implementation firsthand. Navy Rear Adm.
