The Democratic Municipal Campaign Committee has a responsibility to its; Contributors, staff, candidates, and the American People to utilize funds provided to it; effectively, efficiently, and transparently. As such, we are pleased to make the following announcements; - All; business, administrative, management, and operating expenses, processes, and undertakings will now be housed within, and overseen by, the newly created Office of the Committee Chief Executive Officer, who shall administer a siloed treasury as an incorporated for-profit business with independent revenues. Salaries, costs, and like expenditures for all staff, and the organization as an entity, will be appropriated from within this group. - All; political, fundraising, public policy, and campaign related endeavors will be housed within, and overseen by, the newly created Office of the National Executive Director, who shall initially serve as Chair of the Committee simultaneously. Expenses and operations related to this portfolio shall be appropriated from the Committee's FEC registered political action organization and treasury, and shall function as a Sec. 1027 organization, it shall not operate for profit. Both offices shall receive ultimate governance and oversight from the Executive Sub-Committee of the organization, which serves as the DMCC's Board of Directors, and includes the Executive Directors of each of the organization's Constituent Conferences, the Committee's Vice Chairs and General Counsel, three Independent Members, the Committee Chair, and with the creation of these roles; the National Executive Director and Committee Chief Executive Officer. By making these changes, we will pioneer a first for organizations of our kind, by guaranteeing that one hundred percent of your contributions will go directly towards #electinglocaldems, and that our expenses from both a business and political perspective, are transparent and publicly available for examination, so as to maximize our accountability and performance. #update #dmcc

Split into two Divisions; DMCC - College Democrats, and DMCC - High School Democrats, we're able to; register first time voters, engage the electorate, aid the work of Democratic campaigns at the local level, and bring the perspective of individuals between the age of 14-30 to the table. Statement On The Status Of The New York City Democratic Mayoral Primary For Immediate Release 02-02-2025 Washington, D.C - The Democratic Municipal Campaign Committee believes in embodying the principles of the party we endeavor to support. These principles include; respect for the rule of law, adherence to quality ethics, zero tolerance for sexual harassment and assault, and holding elected officials at every level accountable. As such, it is our position that, in consideration of the central front-runners in contention for the Democratic nomination for Mayor of the City of New York, neither incumbent Mayor Eric Adams, nor former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo can, or will, receive endorsement or support from the Committee or its affiliates. We understand that this decision may prove controversial to the candidates' supporters and to parts of the public at large, however, it is our belief that the decision remains necessary in order to remain truthful in our commitments and positions, not only to our contributors, but to staff and the American people as well. #dmcc #updates
