Located in the heart of NYC’s theatre district in the midst the visual cacophony of Times Square, Touro University’s new flagship campus needed to be easily identifiable. The lighting design creates a bold, yet dignified lobby environment that is highly visible to passersby. Attendees will learn about contrast ratio, color rendering, color temperature, as well the context of a project. Illuminance meters will be used by volunteers who will measure various lighting levels both inside the lobby space, as well as illuminance levels outside while standing in Times Square.
