We're honored to share news that DJ&A took home the 2025 ACEC Engineering Excellence Award in the Small Projects category for our work on the University of Montana Museum of Art and Culture and Greenway Improvements project. The project was led by Kyle Gauthier, PE, and transformed UM’s campus, improving safety, sustainability, and access for all. DJ&A Acquires QPEC to Enhance Structural Engineering Offerings & Geographic Presence MISSOULA, MT (November 4, 2024)?– DJ&A, a multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, environmental, and planning firm based in Missoula, Montana, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Quiroga Pfeiffer Engineering Corporation (QPEC), effective November 1, 2024. US DOT Secretary Pete Buttigieg recently visited Western Montana, including the US Highway 93 corridor, which is a critical route in western Montana. DJ&A is proud to be working with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes in partnership with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) to help find funding solutions and project delivery strategies for the Ninepipe and Post Creek Projects, just south of Ronan. To date, the Tribes have been awarded grants through the Nationally Significant Federal Lands and Tribal Projects, Wildlife Crossing and Pilot Program, and Neighborhood Access and Equity Programs. These funds will support improvements that increase safety for drivers and wildlife on Highway 93 where it runs through the Flathead Indian Reservation, while protecting ecological and cultural resources. ?
