Spectra Austin: Our first stop was Spectra Austin, where we met with leadership to discuss the safety visit. We conducted a warehouse inspection, competed virtual forklift training with Usiel, and inspected a jobsite with Dan. The leadership team at Spectra Austin prioritizes safety, and it’s evident in the way they approach their work. Spectra Dallas & HPF: We spent the majority of the week at Spectra Dallas and HPF, where we met with leadership to discuss various safety topics. Jobsite audits were completed, followed by educational sessions and additional training. We also held a follow-up meeting to focus on electrical safety. Moving forward, we plan to conduct safety visits to Dallas every other month, which will include a safety presentation to lead subcontractors, installers, and management. This presentation will cover key hazards observed in the field, along with important OSHA facts in case of field audits. Special Acknowledgement: Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to Phillip Chambers for his continued professionalism in safety. He took the time to discuss safety matters with our team and demonstrated excellent leadership. Phillip is always quick to respond to emails and calls regarding safety concerns at his location.
