Faith Hudson and Jada Chioma Nneji, two of our incredible DAPP alumnae, represented DAPP at the Midwestern Region, National Black Law Students Association (MWBLSA) Law Students Association Convention. They spent the day speaking with pre-law students, sharing their experiences, and showing what’s possible when opportunity meets preparation. Access to mentorship and support shouldn’t be a privilege. It should be the standard. Seeing Faith and Jada in these spaces, guiding the next generation, is exactly why DAPP exists. The legal field is stronger when talent is nurtured, when doors are opened, and when those who have walked the path turn around to help the next person through. The future of law is here. DAPP is here to make sure it has the access, support, and opportunity it deserves.
Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP)
法律服务
The first national, 501(c)(3) organization founded to cultivate and grow the pipeline of women of color lawyers.
关于我们
The mission of the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program (DAPP) is to nurture and support the next generation of women of color attorneys and infuse the pipeline with diverse women of color law students who are empowered tackle the rigors of the legal profession. Born in 2013, DAPP was created to address the continued decline of underrepresented women of color lawyers in large law firms. Its founders first brainstormed about the program after discovering a disconnect between the number of highly-qualified, talented women of color lawyers in contrast to law firms’ continued struggle to identify, recruit, and retain qualified women of color at the associate and partner levels. DAPP seeks to directly solve this problem by preparing first-year, women of color law students for the rigors of big law through intensive academic support, rigorous professional development, student and attorney mentorship and internship opportunities. DAPP currently runs four (4) national programs specifically for 1L women of color law students: National Scholars Program, #PrepDAPP Boot Camp, DAPP Direct Job Placement Fair, Client Readiness Boot Camp.

Here are 3 key study tips to help you finish the semester strong: 📚 Adapt to Your Professor’s Style Each professor values different things in exam answers. Review their past exams, focus on the concepts they emphasize, and tailor your responses accordingly. ✍️ Practice, Practice, Practice Take as many practice exams as possible. This helps you identify weak spots and master time management for the real thing. 🗂️ Master Your Outlines Your outline is your study foundation. Summarize key rules and cases in a way you’ll understand under pressure. The simpler, the better.
