The next generation of workers are ready for clean renewable energy! That was the clear takeaway from #NationalApprenticeshipWeek. I talked to over 400 students, dozens of adult job seekers, and hundreds of union members about the promise of a #union career building, operating, and maintaining #offshorewind projects. This vision is possible because of the incredible training members receive in (pre) apprenticeship, labor management, and continuing education programs. THIS is how we build #generationalwealth in our communities. For over 15 years, he’s been a leading figure in the finishing trades industry, committed to effectively representing his union sisters and brothers. ? Joseph has championed negotiations for numerous collective bargaining agreements with employer partners which include increased wage and benefits for members, improved safety standards, and increased worker protections. Joseph is dedicated to leading community efforts and partnerships with organizations like NEW, which provide critical workforce development skills and pre-apprenticeship programs.
