As we approach the halfway point for Hispanic Heritage Month, DC 21 has more Latin American members we want to spotlight.

DC 21 members: IUPAT's VIP Plan is now open for enrollment! Enroll by 10/24 to start getting coverage on 11/1. Members are eligible for the Voluntary Income Protection Program, which provides benefits to members unable to work due to injury, illness (including substance abuse and mental health conditions), hazardous material exposure, pregnancy-related work absences, and surgery. Members can receive up to $1,200 per week in short-term disability benefits, up to $5,000 per month in long-term disability benefits, and Income Life and AD&D insurance coverage spanning from $20,000 to $400,000. As Hispanic Heritage Month continues, DC 21 wants to highlight a few more of our Latin American members and their contributions to our union.

National Hispanic Heritage Month starts today! This observance started in 1968 to celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of Americans with Latin American roots. In honor of this month, DC 21 wants to spotlight some of our Latin American members and their contributions to our union.

We will never forget the tragedy of 9/11 and we will continue to honor the memory of those we lost.
