"Eight is enough"? What's the solution when an eight-PA combination is too many, but four fall shy of your power target? We can and will make any port count, in our high power broadband radial power combiners. Here's a medium-power 6-way radial power combiner for the 1 - 6 GHz band, rated just shy of 3 kW into matched loads at 25°C. It's capable of 1200 watts into 6:1 loads, or 910 watts into open/short circuit, all at 50°C and 2000m elevation. Other and higher ratings available. #RF #microwave #amplifier

First day of summer break, for school kids around here. I suppose none of them would be too excited for a new series of coaxial radial power #combiners, but perhaps some of our #amplifier engineers might be! The new offerings are in the 1.0 - 6.0 GHz band, 3-way through 16-way, in various SMA, N-type, and DIN 7-16 configurations. To kick it all off, we are re-introducing our old 11.5 kW 16-way in N-type x DIN 7-16 HT configuration, with some minor mechanical improvements, to bring it in line with the new series and drive price down through common components. Here's a very high power full-mismatch 60 kW peak power 6-way divider we had done for one of our weather decision support system customers last year. A Gysel type divider with externally-mounted isolation terminations, it will handle any combination of individual port failures. #RF #microwave #amplifier #combiner #divider
