BioTC Oklahoma is excited to announce the acquisition and installation of six Distek, Inc. BIOne 1250 5L Working Volume Benchtop Bioreactor Systems. ???? ?? BioTC purchased these systems specifically to deliver the “bioreactor operations” sections of our upcoming curriculum. These units were sourced because of their user-friendly touchscreen interface that will allow trainees to effortlessly control all bioreactor parameters with the touch of a finger. With other comparable products on the market, trainees could waste valuable training time navigating a multitude of control screens and menu systems to make a simple adjustment. DisTek’s revolutionary design displays all critical parameters, as well as the ability to adjust those parameters, on one easy interactive screen. This way, at bench-scale operations, trainees are more focused on learning “how a bioreactor operates” overall and how those operations and controls impact cellular growth... VERSUS spending time learning “how to navigate and operate a specific bioreactor's operating system”. We seriously couldn't have found a more intuitive technology or a better "Made in the USA" company like DisTek to partner with and we feel honored to teach the next generation of biomanufacturing associates utilizing their products.
