It is supported by $12.1 million (46%) provided through BlueForge Alliance in partnership with the U.S. Department of the Navy, $850,000 (3%) from the U.S. Department of Labor/ETA - Community Project Funding, and $3.5 million (10%) from non-federal sources.

Approaching alongside a vessel underway is always challenging - for law enforcement, pilot transfer or any other reason. Busy week ahead with sea trials in Ft Lauderdale!

We paused our posts because of the recent hurricanes in Florida. We’ll be in Ft Lauderdale next week, so here’s the next one of several we have that show how the Rafnar hull performs. Contact us for a sea trial on the 9m aluminum and the 12m fiberglass boats. [email protected] … We love to show our boats doing hard turns, but this isn’t for amateurs. The stern doesn’t slide. No chine walk. No throttle manipulation… Professionals should see this capability as a margin of safety when the mission calls for hard maneuvering. It’s also a safety factor when teaching new operators - or for an experienced operator who makes a mistake. It’s harder to get a Rafnar into an unsafe condition. #RafnarMaritime #DisruptorMaritime #RafnarHellas #RafnarTurkyie

Last week, we had the honor of hosting a delegation from the defense forces and institutions of the five Nordic countries. The delegation included top military leaders, among them the nations’ Chiefs of Defense, as well as the National Armaments Directors from each country. We took them out to test our unique boats. Despite Iceland’s calm seas that day, we showcased our superior maneuvering skills. In our workshop, we provided a presentation on our work, products, and explored potential collaborations to enhance the daily operations of military boat operators across the Nordic nations. A big thank you to Bj?rgunarsveitin árs?ll and Hjálparsveit skáta í Kópavogi for providing boats and skippers, and to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland for organizing?the?visit.
