The DRBF Central and Eastern Europe Conference opened with welcome remarks from DRBF Representative for North Macedonia and Conference Co-Chair Vlatko Mihajlov, DRBF Executive Board President Jeremy Glover, and DRBF Region 2 President Giorgiana Tecuci. “If You Fail to Plan, You Plan to Fail” moderated by Gabriel Armanet, FCIArb, MRICS addresses local experiences and lessons on project preparation and tenders, procurement, the importance of technical data, effect of the type of contract, and more. Speakers included Mariam Badeyan, Florin Niculescu, Vanja Podhradski, and Maja Kor?i? Poto?nik.

In Skopje, a diverse group of public agency and government ministry personnel representing roads, rail, water and wastewater, and other sectors gathered from North Macedonia and surrounding Balkan countries to deepen their knowledge of the DB process and share their experiences. The seminar was presented by DRBF Executive Board President Jeremy Glover, DRBF Executive Director Ann Russo, DRBF Member and FIDIC Certified Adjudicator Igor Zirojevikj, DRBF Representative for North Macedonia Vlatko Mihajlov, and DRBF Region 2 Board President Giorgiana Tecuci. The DRBF is dedicated to expanding awareness of the benefits of Dispute Boards for dispute avoidance and resolution for complex projects. These outreach initiatives are at the heart of our mission.
