?? Meet Justin Perron, one of our esteemed Advisory Board Members at Discovery Teaching Labs! ?? Justin is an Associate Professor of Physics at California State University San Marcos with an extensive background on solid state physics and silicon quantum electronics. His dedication to integrating quantum information science into the undergraduate curriculum, both at CSUSM and across the CSU system, makes him an invaluable asset to our mission of enhancing undergraduate physics education. With a Ph.D. from SUNY University at Buffalo focused on the superfluid transition in Helium, and three years of postdoctoral experience at NIST, Justin brings a deep knowledge of experimental physics and a drive for discovery that resonates with our goals. Since joining CSUSM in 2015, he’s actively led research in silicon quantum electronic devices, empowering undergraduates to engage in cutting-edge work on applications in quantum information science and metrology.
