Today, we are honoring the Legacy of Michael J. Cudahy, a visionary tinkerer, inventor, and entrepreneur who helped shape Discovery World into the hub of inspiration and curiosity that it is today. Cudahy’s passion for innovative and hands-on learning continues to inspire future generations of creators and problem-solvers. His belief that curiosity fuels discovery lives on in every exhibit, workshop, and interactive experience at Discovery World. He would have been 101 years old today, and his legacy reminds us to keep exploring, keep questioning, and keep building a better future. Thank you, Michael J. Yesterday, we welcomed future scientists, engineers, and leaders for our Girls & STEM event! With the support of Northwestern Mutual and Rockwell Automation, families explored hands-on activities and connected with 20+ exhibitors showcasing careers in AI, coding, and beyond. Today, we had the privilege of welcoming students from Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Milwaukee to Discovery World for an engaging career panel with our talented team! From education and aquarists to grants and beyond, our panel represented a wide range of professions that help bring a museum and aquarium to life. Each of us shared our unique journeys—our backgrounds, work experiences, and the paths that led us to where we are today. While our stories were different, one theme remained the same: we are a team of curious, lifelong learners who are passionate about Discovery World's mission.
