The more we learn about it and are able to take care of our own mental health the more we are able to achieve. What do you love about working at Discovery Ranch South? I am at DRS completely for the students. I love working with them, talking with them and getting to know them. They make everyday exciting and are the reason I love what I do. What are your hobbies? fishing, hiking, reading and line dancing What is your favorite Movie or Book? A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini What's your favorite place you've traveled to or want to travel to? I went to Seoul about two years ago and it was amazing! I plan on going back soon! When a student graduates our program, they get a photo album from their time here. We had a student graduate last week and while making their album, they shared a wonderful quote/phelosophy that became their photo album cover. "If you have enough crumbs, you will eventually have a whole cookie". Developing Love Through Service Our calf program has helped many teenagers to learn how to express love. Some of our students have expressed their innate desire to help the calves survive and thrive. The experience helps young people develop responsibility. After all, they must care for their calves no matter the weather, even on days they do not feel like doing it.
