We would love to see every student have the opportunity for hands-on engineering activities, but what can you tell them about why Engineering is a great career? This handy graphic should help! A very special thanks to our partners Bentley Systems who know that #EngineeringIsOpenToEveryone! Learn more ?? ?? in bio!

Transform a student's future: introduce them to engineering!
关于我们
We are DiscoverE (formerly the National Engineers Week Foundation). We help unite, mobilize, and support the engineering and technology volunteer communities. Why? They will increase their collaborative footprint in K-12 education and celebrate with the public as it discovers the value of engineering education and careers. Our programs include: Engineers Week, Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day, Future City Competition, the Persist series (formerly Global Marathon), Global Day of the Engineer, outreach for the Dream Big Film and more!

Today we celebrate International Women's Day. We know that engineering is open to everyone, but there is a lot of work still to be done. From creating better supports for working engineers to providing more resources for future engineers, we know that this profession is capable of great things! To all the women engineers and technicians- THANK YOU for all that you do! #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025 #Engineers

We know that engineers are collaborative, work under pressure, and make a difference! When we celebrate social emotional learning, we are preparing students with the 'soft skills' to be future engineers! Our Future City program is deeply infused with SEL learning opportunities for students from grades 6-12! During the hands-on project based learning, students do what real engineers do, from designing, building, planning, researching, collaborating, and making a difference. In short- Future City creates future engineers! #FutureCity2025
