I am excited to announce Durin! Durin is my plan to solve the biggest challenges in mining, discovering mineral deposits necessary for national security and clean energy in record time and cost efficiency. Durin is building the next generation of mining equipment designed to radically improve the speed and efficacy of mineral exploration. We will use this equipment to build the next major mining company, efficiently using skilled labor augmented with advanced technology utilizing built-in geophysical sensors, automated controls, and live data streams. We aim to boost the mining industry's drilling efficiency by 90%. We are vertically integrated, retrofitting (and soon manufacturing) drilling rigs in-house and operating them as contractors in the field. The United States and her allies are endowed with boundless resources, yet the critical mining sector is underserved by technology entrepreneurs, capital allocators, and governments. Progress occurs when bold teams come up with creative solutions to humanity’s greatest challenges. Bringing mining into the 21st century is one of them. We are hiring Electrical, Mechanical, and Rock Mechanics engineers to build the drilling rigs of the future.
