US Army Lt. Gen. Paul T. Stanton, DISA director and JFHQ-DODIN commander, recently visited the DISA Global Field Command at Scott AFB. During the visit, DISA Global staff briefed the director on their latest developments in Defensive Cyber Operations and mission partner service. But the visit wasn't all briefings. Stanton also led the team in a physical training session, emphasizing the importance of excellence, readiness and teamwork to achieve our mission of connecting and protecting the Warfighter. #WeMakeIThappen

At the USTRANSCOM Component Commanders Conference, US Army Lt. Gen. Paul T. Stanton, DISA director and JFHQ-DODIN commander, discussed the critical link between resilient communications and USTRANSCOM's ability to execute its mission as the U.S. military's transportation command. Stanton underscored the importance of proactively addressing evolving cyber threats and leveraging emerging technologies to maintain a robust and adaptable United States Department of Defense Information Network, or DODIN. Christopher Argo, DISA J-3/5/7 director, recently visited DISA Global Field Command at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. DISA Global, which Argo referred to as "the center of gravity for DISA," has an expansive, no-fail mission to support Warfighters in cyberspace 24/7. The United States-Japan Alliance is crucial to peace, stability and freedom in the Indo-Pacific region. As a part of our commitment to this alliance, the DISA Pacific Field Command staff recently hosted a delegation from the Japanese Joint Staff, including Japanese Defense Forces Maj. Gen. Yasuhiro Kato, director general, C4 Systems Department. The visit focused on the resiliency of undersea fiber infrastructure to and from the Japanese Islands. DISA Pacific Commander United States Marine Corps Col. Jared C. Voneida briefed the delegation on the Defense Information Systems Network’s architecture in the Indo-Pacific and how the network is being modernized with new technologies to greatly improve resiliency in any future denied, degraded, intermittent or limited operational environment. #WeMakeIThappen
