For many Colorado families, hidden suspensions are creating an invisible barrier to education for students who need support the most. Colorado’s HB 24-1063 was created to end this practice, ensuring that schools meet federal standards and provide a supportive, inclusive environment. The new law mandates documented support plans and accountability measures, no matter the staffing or funding challenges. In an eye-opening Op-ed, Rep.
