Why does Tiffany A. Yu, MSc say disability is the future? What accessibility features do we in the non-disabled community enjoy (and would protest if they went away) that were created for the disability community? Last Friday, I had the pleasure of interviewing Tiffany in anticipation of her new book, The Anti-Ableist Manifesto, being released tomorrow! This snippet is one of many great nuggets of information you may have missed. The whole interview is available on our YouTube channel. #DisabilityInclusion #DisabilityAdvocate #Ableism

In the run up to the #Paralympics, our #MyStoryMyVoiceMondays series will highlight athletes interviewed by our very own Founder Jennifer Price. These athletes exemplify the same grit and determination as any other but without the consistent acknowledgement. Until now. Thank you Robby Donarski, CPA for a great interview on preparing for a major United States Golf Association (USGA) tournament, the Adaptive Open! #AdaptiveSports #DisabilityInclusion #MSMVMondays

We have long stated that our network doesn't believe in tokenism but telling stories from disabled people representing the lived experiences. #Disability is a human experience and we're glad there is a report that validates others feel the same way. #DisabilityRepresentation #DisabilityAdvocate

And the numbers are in. Inevitable Foundation reported that 66% of people are dissatisfied with disability and mental health representation in TV and film. This comes on the heels of my live Q&A with Caroline Parker Boyd, MFA and Megan Clancy last night about disability representation and how to break into the industry as a disabled creative. (Highlights coming soon) Now is the time to act but I'm happy to have DIME Network take the lead. Thanks Heidi Diamond for sharing this story! #DisabilityInMedia #AuthenticRepresentation #DisabilityVisibility
