DIME (YC W24)?lets manufacturers use their telemetry data to anticipate and prevent equipment and hardware product failures. Their AI agent identifies patterns of key failure modes and builds ML models to prevent them. Hardware manufacturers gather huge amounts of data from products and production lines, including customer feedback, logs, IoT sensor data, and more. Engineers use this data to identify the causes of manufacturing and product failures, but the process is complicated and time-consuming. The challenges include collecting massive real-time data, preparing and cleaning it for analysis, and running complex models that require specialized expertise. This makes it hard to quickly extract useful insights and establish reliable machine learning workflows, especially for engineers without data science or software engineering backgrounds. Dime's Data Studio simplifies this by aggregating data across systems and handling the infrastructure needed to efficiently extract, transform, and use that data, making the process faster and easier for engineers. Congrats on the launch, Akash Kumar and Ashish Bajaj! ?? https://lnkd.in/gGgVfwAf

The best part of my job at DIME (YC W24) is traveling to customer sites and hearing their stories. This factory used to purchase most of its 3 tons of raw material from China and South Korea. Today they’re about 60% domestically sourced. The reason? Covid shut them down for weeks and the cost of international shipping is about 10x pre-Covid. Yes, Covid is still impacting the global supply chain. The only solution is to boost American manufacturing ???? #manufacturing #ai
