The sun is out. The mercury is rising. It's groundbreaking season! ?? Late last month, DIG joined Saddle River Day School Head of School Jalaj Desai and fellow project team members to break ground on the new Dr. Kristen Walsh Hall of Science & Entrepreneurship, a facility designed by DIG to enhance the school’s academic offerings in #STEM and business education. ??♂? Designed by DIG, the 32,000 SF building will introduce 15 classrooms, four small-group instruction rooms, four science labs and flexible spaces for robotics, engineering, and entrepreneurship. ???? The facility will also house a commons, collaboration areas, and a new admissions center to support new student recruitment and engagement. Don't touch that dial. ?? A new chapter begins as the Long Branch Free Public Library is officially re-open after an extensive renovation to its Carnegie Wing, featuring a blend of historic restorations and modern upgrades designed by DIG! ?? The library’s transformation showcases thoughtful Carnegie-era design elements that honor its heritage while enhancing its functionality. Officially opened in 1920, the library is believed to be the last Carnegie library built with funds awarded by Andrew Carnegie and the Carnegie Foundation. We were entrusted to design renovations to restore the historic Carnegie Wing to its original grandeur, including interior upgrades, a new special collections room, new program spaces, and building system improvements. ??♂??? Time is running out for firms to express interest in hosting students for the 2025 ACE Mentor Program of America Summer Work Experience! ?? ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey had eight students working at five different firms in 2024 and we are looking to expand in Summer 2025! Typically, students will work a total of 80 hours between June and the end of August. Either two 40-hour weeks or four 20-hour weeks with reimbursement available for the host firm. ??
