In 1992, Digital One started mixing audio in Portland. Seniors are the fastest-growing demographic of people entering homelessness. No Place To Grow Old is the first documentary in the nation to tell that story. Though the focus is on Portland, this is happening in every city throughout the country.

At Digital One, we have a passion for documentaries, but this latest film truly hits home for our team. As a small business in downtown Portland, we interact with our unhoused neighbors daily, and we’re noticing a concerning trend: the faces we see are growing older. No Place To Grow Old delves into the pressing issue of adults aging into homelessness, highlighting the systemic challenges and personal stories that underscore this urgent matter. Through impactful interviews and compelling narratives, the film seeks to raise awareness and inspire action to support this vulnerable population. Unlike films that point out the problem, this one brings solutions. Join us for the premiere at the Newmark Theatre on September 27th, 2024. Have you had a chance to watch season 2 of Hulu's #UnPrisoned? It has it all: great stories, smart writing, and the occasional smack-down. Of course, the wrestling was our favorite part to work on. So grateful for the incomparable Brenda Strong and her amazing sense of humor!
