Your company culture is not words on a website. It's how your people feel on a Sunday night. Credit to Luke Tobin. Follow him for more. Original post: __________ Your company culture is not words on a website. It's how your people feel on a Sunday night. Signs it may be time to rethink your approach: 1. Team members avoid talking, and key information is missed. 2. People seem disengaged, and enthusiasm is lacking. 3. Employees are leaving frequently, or morale is so low that people are actively seeking new roles. 4. Tensions rise, and small issues turn into major disputes. 5. Deadlines are missed, and work quality drops. 6. No one takes responsibility for mistakes, and blame-shifting becomes common. 7. Team members call in sick more often or show up late without explanation. 8. There are fewer new ideas, and the team feels stagnant. 9. Negative attitudes spread, making the work environment unpleasant. 10. Team members stop participating, and there's little passion for their work. Here's what a thriving culture looks like: 1. People excited to collaborate. 2. Employees feel valued every day. 3. A team that’s invested in each other’s growth. 4. Leaders who listen, not just dictate. 5. A space where innovation thrives, not just routine. Your culture is the foundation of your success. If it’s broken, your team will notice. Fix it now before they check out: - Foster open communication and let people speak up. - Prioritise recognition by celebrating wins, big or small. - Encourage work-life balance because trust me, your people need it. - Create a sense of purpose , "why does your work matter?" Fixing your culture starts with understanding your team’s needs. A thriving culture = a thriving team.

This is making your people leave, And you don’t even realise it! Credit to Laura Morgan. Follow her for more. Original post: __________ Performance punishment. You know the cycle: Someone performs well. They hit targets. They go above and beyond. And instead of being rewarded? They’re given more work, more responsibility and higher expectations, WITHOUT extra recognition, pay or support. That’s performance punishment. ?? You deliver results? You get overloaded while others do the bare minimum. ?? You’re reliable? You get extra tasks while others skate by. ?? You raise standards? Now they expect more from you, all the time. Here’s the truth: Overworking your best people isn’t a strategy, it’s a retention risk. When high performers feel undervalued and overburdened, they don’t stay. They burn out or walk out. So if you’re a leader, ask yourself: ? Are you rewarding great performance or just piling on more? ? Are you recognising effort or assuming they’ll always handle it? ? Are you developing top talent or driving them away? High performers deserve growth, not just more workload. Because if you keep punishing great work, don’t be surprised when it stops. P.S. Have you ever experienced this? What was the turning point? ?? Too many companies try to save money the wrong way: Credit to Shulin Lee. Follow her for more. Original post: __________ They cut salaries. They lowball offers. They take people for granted. ?? Here’s what really happens: 1?? Your best people leave. ? If you don’t pay them their worth, someone else will. 2?? The rest quiet quit. ? When employees feel undervalued, they stop trying. (Why do 100% when you’re treated like you’re worth 50%?) 3?? Your reputation tanks. ? The best talent won’t even consider your company. (Because word spreads FAST.) Here’s the part most bosses don’t get: Fair pay isn’t just about money. - It’s about respect. - It’s about trust. - It's pretty basic! When you pay people fairly, they don’t just work harder. They believe in your company. They stay. They build. But when you underpay? You’re telling them: “I don’t value you.” And one day, they’ll believe you. Then they’ll leave. Underpaying might save you today. But it will cost you tomorrow. ?? Share if you agree.

Leadership isn’t a title—it’s a responsibility. Credit to Dr. Chris Mullen. Follow him for more. Original post: __________ I’ve watched so-called “leaders” distance themselves the moment things went wrong. ? Blaming their team. ? Dodging accountability. ? Saving face instead of standing up. And every time, it sent a clear message: “You’re on your own.” But real leadership works the other way around. Strong leaders step in—not step away—when their people need them most. Because leadership means: ?? Taking ownership, even when it’s uncomfortable ?? Supporting your team, especially when mistakes happen ?? Standing between your people and unnecessary politics, blame, or burnout It doesn’t mean ignoring problems or lowering expectations. It means: ?? Coaching instead of criticizing ?? Advocating for your team when they’re not in the room ?? Giving them the tools, confidence, and trust to succeed The best leaders don’t throw people under the bus. They build them up, challenge them to grow, and take responsibility for the outcome. A leader’s reputation isn’t built on how well they lead when things go right—it’s built on how they show up when things go wrong. Have you ever worked with a leader who stood up for their team? What impact did it have? Let’s discuss in the comments. __________ Write viral posts like this in seconds with EasyGen, the AI tool for LinkedIn. Get a week’s worth of posts in 10 minutes. The strongest people weren't born that way. They rose from moments that nearly broke them. Credit to Dr. Elizabeth Lindsey. Follow her for more. Original post: __________ At 50, I lost my husband to cancer and started over. Here's what I discovered: True strength emerges when life strips everything bare. You find what was always there. Signs of real strength and why they matter... ? Presence Your actions echo wherever you go. Someone may feel braver because of you. ? Generosity Courage is a chain reaction. Your stand today might be someone's story tomorrow. ? Truth The most profound moments aren't perfect. They're authentic. Be strong, not because it's easy, but because somewhere, someone is drawing courage from your example. Your struggle could be a lighthouse in someone else's storm. Is there anything you'd add to this list? I look forward to reading your comments. __________ Write viral posts like this in seconds with EasyGen, the AI tool for LinkedIn. Chasing paychecks won’t build your future. Chasing skills will. Credit to Felix Bertram. Follow him for more. Original post: __________ Chasing paychecks won’t build your future. Chasing skills will. One common mistake young professionals make is expecting quick results from new opportunities. They want the highs of success and they want them fast: - The extra perks - The big paycheck - The impressive job title But experience is the greatest teacher. Every job teaches a skill that will set you up for success. I’ve worked all kinds of jobs to get by: - Farming in Germany - Late-night bar shifts - Hands-on factory work And I’ve had my share of awful bosses. But I’m grateful for all these jobs because they paid off in the end. I learnt about leadership, marketing, what to do and what not to do. Most importantly, I’ve learnt how to treat people. I worked around 15 different jobs before entering dermatology. And each taught me a skill that is in my toolkit forever. So if you’re in a job you don’t like, (and hopefully, not your 15th) Ask yourself: What skills am I building for the future? Each one is an investment in your future growth. What is the most valuable skill you’ve learned so far? __________ Write viral posts like this in seconds with EasyGen, the AI tool for LinkedIn. Get a week’s worth of posts in 10 minutes. Business may start from the bottom... Credit to Adam Graham. Follow him for more. Original post: __________ But their culture comes from the top. Employees don't develop a toxic culture. That's like destroying your own house. A non-functional culture comes from higher-ups who: - Don't support and encourage employees. - Use demotivating language and criticise often. - Fail to prioritise employee well-being and balance. - Focus on the bottom line, while employees quit right and left. Repairing a culture from within takes real leadership. But it also requires understanding the capacity of a leader. A leader can't: ?? Force employees care about their work. ?? Make everyone happy at all times. ?? Change their life circumstances. ?? Create a less stressful world. However, a leader can: ?? Give employees tools and resources to make work less arduous. ?? Create an environment that people look forward to being part of. ?? Be compassionate and respect work-life boundaries when taking time off. ?? Prioritise purpose and give a boost to employee confidence in the company. Even the best leaders in the world can't solve everything. But they can make work more than just a place that pays the bills. Because culture isn't created from thin air. It's established from the top and retained in the middle. What would you add to the list? Let me know below ?? __________ Write viral posts like this in seconds with EasyGen, the AI tool for LinkedIn. Get a week’s worth of posts in 10 minutes.
