Happy monday all! With just a week away from games beat next the excitement is through the roof! First big moment will be getting a huge hug from my dear friend Amir Satvat! It is always refreshing to speak with those in industry spaces I am still learning about this being VC and the recruitment side. Gametalk was Unlocked in San Francisco! ???? On Saturday, we kicked off Gametalk Unlocked in the Bay Area with 85 friends coming together to geek out over one thing — video games! Friends of all backgrounds, industries, companies, and disciplines came together to find common ground in the fact that video games spark joy. New connections were made, new seeds of friendship planted, and knowledge shared. My favorite moment was when one guest, who wasn’t in the games industry, said our event opened doors to meeting people who made the games they played and loved. They’ve been curious about the work done in games and made new friends to learn from. This is exactly what makes Gametalk different. We break down barriers, create opportunities, and provide access to what video games can offer, regardless of where you come from.
