Once a year the DDM business development team gathers in person to examine, discuss and debate the best ways to improve our services. There was no moaning about the difficulties in the industry and instead over a dozen professionals met with a clear-eyed focus on how to utilize our services more effectively together to benefit and better champion our clients. After three full days of meetings and working sessions, we then spent time touring the US Capital, the National Archives and many of the amazing monuments. The week started with each member of the bizdev team sharing how they frame DDM’s founding goal, to be the gold standard video game agency, in terms of what that means as a mission for us today. This was followed by each person sharing what they are passionate about here and what personally drives them. If you know a member of our team, feel free to ask them how they answered those questions. It was inspiring to hear one person after another share so clearly the ways that this work holds meaning for them. We are all looking forward to jamming on behalf of our clients in 2025, a year that we expect to be a rebuilding one that is deliberate, somewhat cautious and which is based on solid business frameworks. I am overjoyed that I get to do this hard work with wonderful individuals that have come together into such an amazing team.?

Today we deliver our biggest — and last — content update to Homeworld 3. Since launching back in May, the team has been laser-focused on addressing as much player feedback as they could. Their perserverance and passion is astounding, and this update proves it! ?? Total combat rework & ship rebalancing! ?? Massive Skirmish revamp: New tech trees, Hyperspace jumping! ? New War Games features, 2 new premium fleets, and more! ?? Hundreds of other improvements, fixes and new features! It's bittersweet to be closing this chapter at BBI (and saying farewell to the Homeworld IP), but we're proud of the work we've done this past year to respond to feedback and make Homeworld 3 a deeper, more satisfying game. We're equally grateful to the players who have shared their thoughts and cheered us on. And, lastly, to our friends and partners at Gearbox Publishing for enlisting us to continue this iconic series all those years ago! It's always sad to say goodbye, but we're also excited for the road ahead. There's a lot of great things happening at BBI, and we can't wait to share more.
