Digital Catapult Northern Ireland works with digital SMEs to help them grow and scale faster and we support larger organisations in their digital transformation. Our mission is to make Northern Ireland a global digital leader and we do this by helping organisations work smarter, more efficiently and ultimately become more productive by identifying and implementing innovative digital technologies. We act as a connector between Northern Ireland’s digital community and companies, other organisations within the broader Catapult network and organisations worldwide, presenting companies with access channels, partnerships and support networks. Digital Catapult works across a range of technology layers: 1. Connected: Internet of Things, distributed ledger technologies, decentralised web, 5G and low powered wide area networks 2. Data-driven: trust, privacy, identity and security, blockchain and cyber-security 3. Intelligent: machine learning and artificial intelligence 4. Immersive: virtual reality, augmented reality, haptics and new forms of human machine interface
